October 2020 is a special month for our team at Hantec Systems, as we celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. In a year of uncertainty and fear, it is good to have something positive to focus on.
Founded in October 1995 by Paul Wallis, Hantec Systems was originally the result of one man’s endeavor to offer ISO9001 consultancy to the smaller businesses within the security industry, as the larger consultancy companies of the time were unwilling to do so.
Over the years we have consulted across a wide range of industries, including document storage, pvcu window fabrication, entertainment, event management, machinery manufacture, film & TV casting and sanitization products to name but a few.
Our very first client was Care Guard Security in Basingstoke, and we are very proud and humbled to say that they are still a client 25 years on. Thank you Care Guard, and to all our clients past and present, for your loyalty and much valued custom.
In 2000, we employed our first employee Andy Carver, who is still with us today. Andy is now one of the top consultants to the security industry. Fast forward to 2018, and the Hantec team embraced their newest member, the daughter of our Founder and Managing Director, Hannah Wallis. Fresh from the classroom, having been a Primary School teacher for 3 years, Hannah has brought a youthful energy to the company and we have been able to draw on her skills to broaden our offering, including resources to promote staff wellbeing, engagement and empowerment.
What started with ISO9001:1994 has blossomed into a company arsenal of management systems, including ISO27001 Information Security, ISO14001 Environmental Management and ISO45001 Health & Safety Management. The company has gone from strength to strength, obtaining and maintaining a variety of certifications for our clients.
With our non-executive director services and employee health, wellbeing and empowerment services, we believe that we are the only compliance for growth consultancy that offers strategic direction and advanced planning of critical business functions, for ambitious companies seeking sustainable, profitable growth in the Central South Region, in an era of increasing regulation and legislation.
